We want a team of quality, experienced lawyers who are equipped to deliver excellent advice and excellent service to clients across a range of personal and commercial work types.  Our part in that is to create the framework and the platform to enable those lawyers to go about doing what they do best, which is working as lawyers and not spending any more time than they need to spend on admin and practice management.

If you are an experienced and high quality lawyer, we would be happy to talk with you about you joining Parity.  There is no restriction on the type of work that we would consider carrying out, so if your specialism is an area that we do not currently offer to clients it would still be worth you contacting us.  We spend time speaking to and vetting applicants and potential applicants, since we need to be sure that Consultants delivering work for the firm reflect our own goals and values as well being able to conduct the work under our professional indemnity insurance.

From our side, the process typically takes a couple of weeks or so.  There are steps that you would need to take, particularly if you do not already have your own business.   In order to work with us as a Consultant you will need your own business infrastructure, for example business banking facilities, an appropriate office environment, accounting/tax advice and so on.  If you do not already have those facilities in place we can, if you wish, put you in touch with appropriate independent professionals to get you going.  It is not as daunting as it may at first seem!

Depending on your specialism, either at the end of each month or at the end of each transaction/case you will invoice us for, and we will pay to you, a percentage of the fees paid to us against invoices submitted for work done by you, or for work introduced by you to another of our Consultants.  The percentage will be based upon agreed scales.  For work done by you, the percentage will typically be somewhere in the region of 70% and up to 80% of the invoiced amount.  We work with you to ensure that our invoicing is done regularly and managed effectively, which helps your cashflow and ours.  How much work you do with us at Parity is entirely up to you, but the potential for you to earn very significant amounts is certainly there.
